GeoRaster Loader for Oracle Spatial 10g & 11g DOWNLOAD NOW!
Geomatica GeoRaster Loader is a desktop product to load image data and associated metadata into Oracle Spatial 10g and 11g. Image data is extracted from over 50 raster file formats and loaded into the Oracle database as a GeoRaster object. Associated image metadata is loaded into fields in the table containing the GeoRaster. The application is a wizard which guides the user through the various steps to load the image.
The steps include:
- connecting to the Oracle database
- selecting the image to load
- defining the metadata mappings
- selecting the record in the Oracle table to load the image
- setting the image storage parameters
- loading the image
The application offers complete control of the GeoRaster storage options so no subsequent operations are required.
GeoRaster Loader supports over 50 raster formats.
The GeoRaster Loader product is free but does require product registration.
The resulting GeoRaster image can be visualized using the PCI Geomatics Freeview application. |

Recommended system requirements for GeoRaster ETL:
Operating System Platform: Windows NT/2000/ME/XP
Processor: Pentium III 600 Mhz processor (or equivalent) or higher
Memory: 512 MB of RAM or greater
Graphics Card: 24-bit Windows graphics card or accelerator running at 1280x1024 pixels – the minimum is a 16-bit graphics card or accelerator running at 1024x768
Disk Space: 200 MB of free hard disk space
Notes: GeoRaster ETL is a loading solution, typically for use on a client system. Please note that the Oracle 10g database server requirements would be considerably different; for more information, please consult your Oracle vendor.
