The PCI Professional Software Development Kit (ProSDK) includes a set of libraries, header files and tools that allow users to run and write pluggable functions. A pluggable function is a function that can be dynamically loaded by a client program.
Geomatica ProPacks are collections of PCI pluggable functions for a variety of geospatial data processing purposes. The pluggable functions provided in ProPacks can be strung together with other PCI (or user-created) pluggable functions to create complete, customized geospatial data processing workflows and software.
New pluggable functions can also be written using parameter classes and facilities included in the PCI SDK. The libraries and header files included in the PCI SDK contain a set of classes for use as function parameters, and facilities for error handling, warning handling and logging, report logging, and execution progress reporting.
