GeoCapacity Information System
PCI Geomatics’ GeoCapacity Information System (GCIS) goes beyond the task of integrating or fusing multiple data types by delivering geospatial products and job-control monitoring through a web interface. A GCIS provides an image-centric engine and enabling technologies for the automated, efficient production of mission critical geospatial information such as ‘on demand’ maps.
We will introduce you to AIMM (automatic ingest mosaic mapping system), a geocapacity application geared to the military and public security community. AIMM is a cost-effective system for transforming geospatial data and imagery into useful information to facilitate decision-making in critical situations. This automated production system ingests a wide variety of raw and corrected satellite imagery, automatically determines its type, corrects it, and then loads it into an Oracle 10g database. Operators can find the imagery pertaining to their area of interest by location, acquisition date, keyword, or sensor type, and send a request for the images, a mosaic, or maps of the area, to be delivered in a variety of formats. The system automatically responds by sending the requested imagery by FTP or email to the intended recipient.

What’s new in Geomatica 10.1.1
Find out what’s new in PCI Geomatics’ latest release, Geomatica 10.1.1, including how to utilize data from the newest high resolution satellites such as ALOS, CBERS, DMC, and EROS-B. Our new KML file format support gives you the ability to export data directly into Google Earth, making your imagery and processed results accessible by anyone anywhere. LASF data is now supported for both reading and writing LiDAR data. Our pan sharpening workflow has always been known for its ability to preserve the spectral and spatial integrity of your data; however, this webinar will highlight a new addition to the pan sharpening workflow to show you how to obtain even better results. You will also see how the RMOVERLAP simplifies cutlines generated during automatic mosaicking, simplifying editing and interpretation.

Polarimetric Analysis with the SAR Polarimetry Workstation
As new sensor technologies emerge, one of the most exciting sensors to PCI Geomatics that is presently emerging is polarimetric SAR. Taking advantage of the way that objects scatter (reflect) radar waves, an unprecedented amount of information about a target can be determined. PCI Geomatics provides one of the most complete packages for performing a wide variety of analysis on targets, be it an individual point target or an entire scene.

Extracting DEMs from ALOS PRISM Data
Let PCI Geomatics show you how to get the most out of extracting DEMs from ALOS PRISM data. PRISM data offers users a high spatial resolution and is relatively inexpensive. You will learn how to extract stereo pairs of DEM images from each CCD in the forward and backward viewing modes, then stitch all the extracted DEMs together to form one.
Additionally, learn how to orthorectify ALOS PALSAR data without having to collect GCPs.
