The Advanced eCognition course covers advanced functionality of eCognition based on project examples. Trainees should have a good understanding of remote sensing prior to this training. Experience in image analysis is helpful. After training the trainees will be able to apply eCognition's high level strategies on their own data and develop sophisticated rule bases. Advanced segmentation and classification approaches are demonstrated and implemented based on example projects.

The methods are demonstrated on artificial examples and on real data from different sensors and in different resolution. The learning process is supported by interactive work. After each learning unit, the trainees execute examples guided by the trainer and on their own. Results and problems are individually discussed.
