3D Feature Extraction can help you gain more from your data. Stereo viewing gives you a birds-eye view of the terrain, and makes image interpretation intuitive. Collecting your features in 3D provides the highest positional accuracy.

Prerequisites
3D Stereo requires Geomatica
Fundamentals or Geomatica Prime, and an associated Geomatica OrthoEngine sensor math
model, such as Airphoto Models, Satellite Models,
High-Resolution Models or RPC and Generic Models.
