PCI Geomatics provides training opportunities for Geomatica 10, OrthoEngine

Richmond Hill , Ontario – November 22, 2005: PCI Geomatics® is pleased to announce several new training opportunities related specifically to Geomatica® 10 - the latest version of the company’s revolutionary image-centric geospatial software. PCI Geomatics training services provide a thorough understanding of PCI software. Geomatica I: Designed for new and experienced users of geospatial software, this two day course teaches the basics needed to visualize and process raster and vector data in Focus. By the end of the course, participants will be comfortable using various tools within Focus for geospatial data processing.
When: January 30 – February 1, 2006

Geomatica OrthoEngine: Designed for new and experienced users of remote sensing and digital photogrammetry software, students will learn
how to set up projects, collect GCPs and tie points, view imagery in 3D, extract features in 3D, orthorectify and mosaic image files manually and automatically. Participants will also be introduced to OrthoEngine component batching within Geomatica Modeler to automate some of the above tasks.
