PCI Geomatics announces key appointments in its Sales departmentRichmond Hill, Ontario – October 19, 2005: PCI Geomatics® has recently announced several leadership appointments within the Sales department, stemming from its expansion into the image-centric solutions market and the ongoing commitment to its suite of Geomatica® geospatial products. Brad Schmidt, formerly the department’s senior director, is now Vice President of Sales. With nearly 20 years experience in the geospatial industry, he has served in a variety of sales and marketing positions. Mr. Schmidt previously worked for Intergraph Corporation, initially in Canada and later in the Middle East, where he served in a number of key positions, including Professional Services Manager and Director of Mapping and GIS Solutions (Middle East region). Michael Agnes has been promoted to Director of Software Sales. Mr. Agnes has worked in both direct sales and with the company’s extensive international reseller partner network for more than 12 years, and brings an abundance of knowledge and experience to his new position. Trevor Taylor has accepted the responsibility of Director of Strategic Sales, an expanded role to his previous position as Director of GeoCapacity® Solutions. Considering the sizable growth of our solutions client base, Mr. Taylor’s more than 15 years of experience around the globe in the geomatics industry will assist in the continued success of the department. Cary Lichtman has joined the Sales team as Account Executive and has responsibility of software and solution sales in the Eastern United States. Mr. Lichtman is no stranger to the geospatial industry, having worked in sales for ESRI, MapInfo, and MapQuest, and as an independent consultant, proving to be an excellent addition to the team.
