PCI Geomatics Strengthens Management Team

Richmond Hill, Ontario – August 05, 2004: PCI Geomatics announced today that it has made several key additions to its senior management team. These new appointments reflect the Company’s growth and expanded focus in the area of image-centric geospatial solutions.

“PCI Geomatics has strengthened its management team with industry leaders who will help us to focus on continued corporate performance and capitalize on our accelerated business growth,” said Dr. Robert Moses, president, PCI Geomatics.

Jeff Hoedeman joins PCI Geomatics in the position of Director of Marketing. He comes to PCI with extensive GIS industry experience and has previously held Senior Marketing and Business Development positions with Avenza Systems and Safe Software. Jeff is a graduate of McGill University, holding an Engineering degree, as well as a Masters in Business Administration.

Layton Peck joins PCI Geomatics as Senior Director of Business Development with extensive business development and management expertise in Canada and the United States. He has previously held Senior Marketing and Business Development positions with Motorola, Domus Software, Kyberpass Corporation, Deloitte and Touche, and BCE Emergis. Layton was also a Professor in the School of Business at Algonquin College, Ottawa, is a Past-President of the Canadian Club of Ottawa and former Director of the Ottawa Board of Trade. Layton is a graduate of Carleton University, Ottawa holding a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Brad Schmidt joins PCI Geomatics as International Sales Manager with extensive sales and marketing expertise in Canada and the Middle East. He was previously Director of Mapping & GIS Solutions for Atheeb Intergraph in the Middle East and has held a senior management position with Intergraph Mapping and GeoSpatial Solutions also in the Middle East. Brad is a graduate of University of Calgary holding a Master of Science degree with specialization in Remote Sensing.
