PCI Geomatics has expanded our geospatial processing capabilities with the release of a new version of the ProPacks collection and the PCI Professional Software Development Kit (ProSDK), used for building highly automated and customized workflow solutions. A ProPack is a set of software components that address a particular application area, such as orthorectificaton or mosaicking and extends the capabilities of the ProSDK. These components are called PCI Pluggable Functions (PPFs) and they represent PCI Geomatics’ core technology. Customized geospatial procedures can be programmed with the ProSDK and ProPacks using the Python, C++ or Java programming languages. Both Windows and Linux editions of the ProSDK and ProPacks are available. Click here for further information on ProSDK or ProPacks.

In January, PCI hosted a series of events in New Delhi, Chandigarh and Hyderabad to showcase the success of the first phase of the Agricultural Geocapacity Network (AGCN) project.
In partnership with the Punjab Remote Sensing Center, PAU, Info-Electronic Systems (Montreal and New Delhi) and CIDA Inc, the AGCN phase I project provides a proof of concept that illustrates how information on crop yields and trend analysis can be automatically generated and delivered to scientists, government officials and the general public via a simple web browser.
