    WorldView-1 Module from PCI Geomatics

2-meter accuracy with no ground control points!
PCI Geomatics announces the release of our WorldView-1 module, designed for orthorectifying images (0.5m resolution) to extremely high accuracies.

Test results show that users can obtain ortho accuracies of up to 2m RMSE without the use of GCPs, saving you time and money. In fact, by adding 1 or more GCPs to a single scene or strip, expect accuracies of well under 1m RMSE!

    What does this mean?

    • Obtain highly accurate results, even in areas where you don't have much ground reference data
    • Create large mosaics without GCPs for anywhere in the world and still obtain high-accuracy reference images
    • Update your satellite base maps, including images in Google Earth or Yahoo Maps
    WorldView1_panchromatic_image_sha
rpened_with_USGS_color_airphotoOur unique Pan Sharpening module adds even more to the value, allowing WorldView-1 data to be merged with high-resolution color imagery (from QuickBird, Ikonos, SPOT5, airphotos, and more) for high- resolution color scenes.

The Worldview-1 module is available now in Geomatica OrthoEngine Version 10.1.2 - complete with tools for automation and full-scale production systems. To find out more, click here or contact your PCI Geomatics representative today.
