Hi
Why do I get (480) extra bytes when exporting data using EASI/FEXPORT:
In the case below I export a file that is 5000 x 2500 x 2 bytes =
12,500,000 bytes
bur the resulting file is *12,500,480. What/where is the extra bytes*?
How to get rid of these bytes?
Jonas,
I can't be sure things are unchanged, but I believe this is a result of
the underlying PCI file IO library operating on 512 byte blocks. I notice
that 12500480 is the first multiple of 512 above the minimum number of bytes
required.
Best regards,
