integrate external C++ functions into PCI

Dear list

we are looking for a possibility to integrate existing (external) C++
programs into the PCI GUI. How could our external C++ programs become
new functions within the Geomatica/Focus Algorithm Librarian (or new
buttons within Focus)?? (Parameter handling via system call, XML- or
ini-file so far)
