MSAR -- Magtape ERS/RADARSAT CCT Format

Reads ERS/RADARSAT imagery from a LGSOWG (or CEOS) CCT format tape, along with orbital and calibration information which is stored in separate segments. MSAR automatically creates a PCIDSK file, reads all of the requested imagery channels from tape.

The imagery and orbital information can be used to create orthorectified images (programs SMODEL, SORTHO and SRORTHO). The imagery and calibration information can be used to do sigma and beta naught backscatter calculations.

Note: The MIL program can also be used to read LGSOWG format tapes in a more general way; however, output from MIL cannot be used for orthorectification.

Progress of this program can be monitored. See MONITOR section.
