Specifies the three input image channels to be interpreted as the
Red, Green, and Blue components of a colour image.

<LI> Input channels must all be 8-bit, if output channels are 8-bit. 
<LI> Input channels can be any type, if output channels are 32-bit. 
<LI> See the DETAILS section for more information on channel types. 
<LI> Duplicate input channels are allowed. 
<LI> Ranges of channels can be specified with negative values. For
example, {2,-4} is internally expanded to {2,3,4}.
