<H4>LaserScan IFF Text</H4>
The GeoGateway library supports LaserScan's IFF text format for read, and
write access. The following attributes will automatically
be created for each layer when reading an IFF file:

<UL>
<LI> REPCode: Feature Code
<LI> GroupId: FSN (Feature Serial Number)
<LI> Angle: RO (Orientation for texts and symbols)
<LI> Height: AC 3
<LI> TextString: TX for text features
<LI> ChildList: Used to group features linked by invisible lines
</UL>
Layers in the IFF file will appear as separate segments when a file is
read in. Creation of new segments (IFF layers) is supported as well.<p>
Export of LaserScan IFF text files is supported.  These files are
exported with a type of &quot;IFF&quot;.  If more than one GeoGateway Vector Layer is
exported then they will be stored as separate IFF Layers.
