Image Metadata
The following metadata tags are predefined for raster layers:
- DEFAULT_PCT_REF: Reference to the PCT segment to be used to display this
image in pseudocolour mode. If this entry is present the image should
default to being displayed in Pseudocolour mode. Layer reference
syntax is described in the general metadata topic.
- DEFAULT_LUT_REF: Reference to an LUT segment to use as a default
enhancement when displaying this image. Layer reference
syntax is described in the general metadata topic.
- SCALING_MIN: Default value to use as a minimum for scaling this image
channel to 8-bit for display purposes.
- SCALING_MAX: Default value to use as a maximum for scaling this image
channel to 8-bit for display purposes.
- NO_DATA_VALUE: The image value that indicates no data is available.
- ELEVATION_UNITS: This may be UNKNOWN (implicit default), FEET, or METRES.
It is primarily intended for use with elevation channels, and should be
UNKNOWN for non-elevation data.
- Class_n_Name: Short name for a theme class in a raster with n being the
class number. Preferably, this name should be less than 9 characters.
- Class_n_Desc: Longer description for a class in a raster.
- Class_n_Color: Colour with which a particular theme class should be
displayed. The value is the colour encoding using the ``(RGB:rrr ggg bbb)''
convention seen in the PCLColor class. In the future other variations may
also be supported.
- ACQUISITION_DATE: This is the date and time that an image was acquire. The
format of date is ``(YYYY/MM/DD HH:MM:SS)''
