Projection of GCPs
GCPs can be collected in different georeference units than the georeference
units they are applied to. This would be done as a two step process.
For example, you can collect GCPs as "LONG/LAT" in one session and project
them to the output georeferencing in a second session in which they are
used to register the imagery.
- Set the georeference definition (e.g. "LONG/LAT E0") and collect
the GCPs. Save the GCPs to disk on the uncorrected image before
exiting GCPWorks.
- Start GCPWorks again and fill in the output georeference definition.
Load in the GCPs that were saved to disk. They will be reprojected
to the other georeference definition that was set before loading the
GCPs. The projected GCPs can then be used to register the uncorrected
image to the other georeference definition.
