There are six types of functions:

        1)  Image commands
        2)  Lookup Table commands
        3)  Pseudocolour memory commands
        4)  Graphic commands
        5)  Bitplane commands
        6)  Miscellaneous commands

All DCP commands have the form:

<PRE>
 DCP&gt; XY n1,n2,...,nj
</PRE>
where:
<P>
<PRE>
           X is the function type (I,L,P,G, or other).

           Y is the subfunction within that function type.

           n1,n2,...,nj  are arguments to XY.
</PRE>
In all parameter lists, default values are indicated by angle
brackets to the right of the parameter description, i.e., &lt;default&gt;.
Where a parameter takes no default, (i.e., it must be specified),
this is shown as &lt;&gt;.
