Footsteps & Futures - March 2004

Title: PCI Geomatics Presents Footsteps and Futures - March 2004
Recent advances in remote sensing and developments in hyperspectral sensors have allowed hyperspectral data to be used by people other than spectral remote sensing experts. Once restricted mainly to geological applications, today's range of disciplines using hyperspectral data includes ecology, atmospheric science, agriculture and forestry, to name just a few.

The Advanced Hyperspectral Package from PCI Geomatics represents a breakthrough in hyperspectral data processing and includes the tools you need to get the most from your hyperspectral data.

The Advanced Hyperspectral Package includes:

  • Geometric Correction
  • Noise Removal
  • Atmospheric Correction
  • Endmember Selection
  • Spectral Unmixing
  • Scatter and Spectra Plotting
  • Visualization Operations
  • Spectral Angle Mapper Image Classification
  • Exclusive Hyperspectral Image Compression*
    * based on technology provided by the Canadian Space Agency.

It's the best way to explain your unique requirements, and it's completely free!

PCI Geomatics presents a key pre-conference seminar at the GeoTEC Event in Toronto, Canada, Sunday March 28 (1:30-5pm).

This workshop will examine all aspects of integrating high resolution imagery into geospatial projects. The discussion will include an overview of new high resolution sensors (such as Ikonos, QuickBird, OrbView and more), where to get data, and how to use it cost-effectively. Data processing concerns (accuracy, classification methods, data quality, and data management) will also be discussed.
