Her Royal Highness Princess Margriet Opens PCI/ILWIS Netherlands B.V.

Richmond Hill, Ontario- June 30, 1999:  PCI Geomatics is pleased to announce
that today, her Royal Highness Princess Margriet, has officially opened
PCI-ILWIS Netherlands B.V.  in the presence of  Mr. J.A.M. Hendrikx, The
Queen's Commissioner, and Her Excellency Madame Marie Bernard-Meunier,
Ambassador of Canada.  Drs. J.H.H. Mans, Mayor of Enschede, Prof. Drs. Ir.
Karl Harmsen, Rector of ITC and Dr. Robert Moses, President and CEO of PCI
Geomatics were also in attendance to officially launch the joint venture
company, PCI-ILWIS Netherlands B.V.

In February 1998, PCI Geomatics and ITC have established and began operating
the PCI-ILWIS Netherlands B.V. for the distribution of geomatics software
solutions and training worldwide.  PCI Geomatics jointly funds and operates
PCI-ILWIS Netherlands B.V. with ITC, giving PCI Geomatics sales and
marketing rights to ILWIS software. In addition, the partnership facilitates
ILWIS software development, marketing and scientific exchanges with related
organizations around the world.

"We are deeply honoured and proud to have Her Royal Highness Princess
Margriet officiate in the opening ceremonies of PCI-ILWIS Netherlands B.V.
comments Dr. Robert Moses President and CEO of PCI Geomatics.  "The
Netherlands and Canada have long enjoyed a special relationship with each
other, this latest venture reinforces the long standing ties between our two
nations and also demonstrates the excellent capabilities that our two
organizations possess in the field of geomatics."  As a historical note,
Princess Margriet was born at the Ottawa Civic Hospital during the Second
World War.   In appreciation, the Netherlands presented Canada with 100,000
tulip bulbs.
