PCI Revolutionizes Geomatics Software with Single Solution
----------------------------------------------------------

Richmond Hill, Ontario - The PCI Geomatics Group today disclosed that it has
been working for over a year on a project to create a revolutionary
Geomatics software package which combines PCI's remote sensing, spatial
analysis and cartography software technology into a single, expandable
product with a common user interface. The effort, named "Project One" at
PCI, will begin to launch products this fall with the release of the
cartographic component. PCI will be the first to offer a truly integrated
geospatial data analysis package with a single point of contact for sales,
service and education.

Project One will be fused with remote sensing and spatial analysis
functionality through a phased release schedule beginning in November 1998
and significant releases of additional functionality continuing throughout
1999. In addition, the product will offer a complete range of customization
tools ideal for third party developers.

"PCI is raising the standards in this competitive industry. Project One is
the most exciting and powerful development to occur within the past decade.
It is another example of our commitment to provide the Geomatics community
with leading technology for the processing, management and visualization of
their geospatial data," comments Dr. Robert Moses, president and CEO of the
PCI Geomatics Group.

For over 15 years, the PCI Geomatics Group has been a leading developer of
geomatics software. It offers a complete range of remote sensing,
photogrammetry, spatial analysis and cartography desktop software products
