PCI's Freeware Data Viewer Offers Access to Over 50 Database Formats

Richmond Hill, Ontario - July 27, 1998: The PCI Geomatics Group is pleased
to announce the version 6.2 release of its ImageHandler freeware geospatial
data visualization program. ImageHandler allows for the viewing, examining
and enhancing of data from over 50 database formats.  The software operates
on Windows 95/NT platforms and can be downloaded from PCI's web site at
www.pcigeomatics.com.

ImageHandler's exploration and enhancement capabilities allow users to view
imagery and vector data in a georeferenced display.  They can also apply
filters, perform histogram stretches and edit graphics. These functionalities
are adopted from ImageWorks, PCI's comprehensive stand-alone image
processing software package.

"PCI produces ImageHandler as a service to the Geomatics community,"

copy and distribute the program freely."
