of PCI's                                                           			
EASI/PACE(r) 


October 23, 1997 - Richmond Hill, Ontario:  PCI Enterprises Inc., a member
of the PCI Geomatics Group announces the Version 6.2 release of its premier
Remote Sensing software program, EASI/PACE.  This release provides
significant advancements in the ImageWorks(r) and FLY(r) core modules of
the program, as well as offering a File Utility tool which facilitates
import, export, reprojection, and live linking of datasets in many formats
as well as a new metadata browser.  The software update is available
immediately for Windows, and UNIX platforms.  For the first time PCI will
be supporting Linux on the Intel platform.

Enhancements to the ImageWorks display software program include the
integration of GPS information into data input as well as significant
improvements to supervised and unsupervised classification functionalities.
FLY!, the 3-D flight simulation module has been updated to support a vector
overlay and to simulate a fogging effect in perspective rendering scenes. 
In addition, GeoGateway(r) support for Arc/Info "binary coverage", SeaWIFS,
SPANS quadtree formats has been added.  GeoGateway allows for direct point
and load access to over 50 raster and vector formats.
