                PCI RELEASES RADARSAT DIGITAL ELEVATION MODEL CREATION
                                                         SOFTWARE


July 3, 1997 - Richmond Hill, Ontario:  PCI Enterprises Inc., a member of
the PCI Geomatics Group, announces the release of the first commercial
software package that generates Digital Elevation Models (DEMs) from stereo
Radarsat imagery.  The module is an integral part of PCI's version 6.1.1
release of its premier radar analysis software package, RadarSoft(.  The
Radarsat DEM module will be available for use on Desktop and UNIX platforms
this summer.

The Radarsat DEM module will provide image import capabilities along with
geometry modelling and preprocessing functions, automatic DEM extraction
and editing as well as manual DEM verification.  Importantly, the software
employs specialized area-based correlators tuned for Radarsat imagery to
achieve the most accurate results.

"There is a high demand for DEM information derived from Radarsat imagery
which has the advantage of data availability in many regions where optical
imagery is not readily accessible. PCI's Radarsat DEM module meets this
need," said Mike Pastushak, vice president of marketing for PCI.
